Generally, hypnosis is a safe process with few side effects. However, because it’s such a state of deep relaxation, you might feel tired or sleepy after your session. This is completely normal and usually goes away within a day or two.
Some people also experience changes in their moods after a session. For instance, you might feel more confident or happy. Changes are usually positive but if they become overwhelming for you emotionally, your therapist can help make adjustments.
